@jeremybernier I thought tech was mainly dominated by Chinese and Indians. But you mentioned Meta is around 90% Chinese, while Indians seem to be fewer. Why is that?
I also feel both cultures can be in-group oriented, though Indians seem more likely to hire from the same background.
@Accor Under EU consumer protection principles, important expiry information should be presented clearly and without ambiguity.
I am not asking for compensation — only for my points to be restored so I can complete the booking I had already planned to make today.
@Accor The interface only displayed:
“Expires on 19 May”
There was no exact expiry time, no timezone clarification, and no indication that the points would expire at 00:00 CET.
I believe most consumers would reasonably interpret “expires on 19 May” as valid until 23:59:59 on 19 May.
@Accor I intentionally planned to use the points this morning (19 May) to book a hotel stay for November, but when I tried to make the reservation, all my points had already expired.
What is confusing is that even under CET/France time, it was still the morning of 19 May.
@Accor Today I experienced a very disappointing issue with Accor ALL Reward points.
My account showed that my points would expire on “19 May,” so naturally I understood that they would remain valid throughout 19 May.
I intentionally planned to use the points this morning (19 May)
