Multiple translations for each play; click to parse & define for any Greek word; full Greek & English search.

@lesliedouglasx@bronzeagemantis He’s deconstructing beliefs and has no care about society at large. Traditionalism has never worked in any capacity, and ethno-nationalism is off the table for everyone except Israel - which leads us to, yes, deconstructing beliefs. The world needs provocateurs & thinkers.
@lesliedouglasx@bronzeagemantis The difference which you ignore in bad faith is that the currents BAP criticises each lay a universalist claim to the future. ‘Society will’, ‘man should.’ The Nietzschean project instead is metapolitical: deconstruction to liberate higher man. No less ambitious, more realistic.
The upper echelons of all races, the aristocratic few, are bound by a common thread.
In this sense, yes, I’m completely colour-blind. I’m not caste-blind though
My wokest opinion is that human biodiversity is cool (ethnicities are basically tomes of ancient biological information extracted from eons of interactions w/ a particular biome) and that smashing everyone together into a greige worker class sludge would be a tragic loss
@mahood1ab2@spookyh8r These counterfactuals are silly. Had you followed a single path since 18, fixed & unresponsive to your environment, it’s not unlikely that you’d be a nervous wreck by 35, or do stuff that makes you feel barren out of sheer stubbornness. You’d be asking ‘what if I explored more’.
@bronzeagemantis Not a sorry soul will remember ‘Hazony’ in a couple of years. They *will* remember you for quite a while, so as kleos goes, you’ve got it covered

The cure for cancer (which an AI will never discover) is a public good. Pure mathematics is a high-status game like chess or fencing, one of the few left in the modern world.
So no we won’t, and the fact that this got a gajillion likes speaks to how utterly stupid this sphere is
@xwanyex This is not my impression of American culture at all, as an outsider. You love underdog stories, most 80s and 90s sports films - and these are a stapel of American culture - are about people overcoming their handicap and beating Goliath. Think of Hoosiers, Rudy etc.
Whatever else it was, fascism never meant to 'erase cultures', especially not in Italy, certainly not in its early modernist phase. Vulgar though it may have been, the idea that it levels lives is the product of the same culture that promotes socialism as a cure-all.
"El verdadero fascismo no lleva camisas negras, vende progreso.
La sociedad de consumo logró lo que el fascismo no pudo hacer: borrar culturas, uniformar vidas y destruir Italia sin que nadie se diera cuenta.
El fascismo no fue derrotado, fue reemplazado."
Pier Paolo Pasolini
It's obvious that the Covid response changed our lives and our politics in huge ways, constitutes this enormous caesura, and this fact is hardly ever discussed or analysed, just a completely forbidden topic in establishment discourse because so many are complicit.
I was just at frat house party all of a sudden six pitch-black motorbikes pull up in front, six guys all in black leather with runic helmets get off, walk into house proceed to rayp EVERYONE, women, men, chairs, everyone, then walk out and ride away. I was untouched.
I don’t disagree that men are too passive, but they’re *also* too violent!
There is no tension here because… [insert convoluted vulgar dialectical argument from undergrad rhetoric textbook & something about sociohistorical context, but ironically phrased]
@teachrobotslove@antigone_ikari He isn’t. The guy should not even be mentioned under the same breath as Tacos.
‘I’m addicted to foocking’ does not in itself interesting literature make
