i’m saying this once & then i’m done bc i try to stay out of drama on this acc. i do not support ai. i HATE ai. i do not use ai. however, if you are sending death threats, doxxing, or harassing her friends who found out the same time we l did, i don’t agree with that either.

@hemminof agreed it definitely didn’t add up!! like it’s possible sure but unlikely. i think one oddity that i noticed was there was some parts where i genuinely couldn’t figure out what position they’d be in or continuity issues with their physical actions. would have never guessed ai tho

somewhere around there the story just felt like it lost the heart it had earlier on and i got an overall bad vibe from it so i stopped reading. but it definitely didn’t click that there was ai !

my brother in christ i wrote wbp in the span of 3 weeks. 2 chapters were written in the span of 2 days, running off of pure motivation. it is not mandatory to use ai to write fast, nor was there any actual deadline??

there’s no reason to use ai in fics. you can google synonyms or grammar, accept human mistakes in it, have a beta reader, take a pause for a day or two if you have writers block.
writers have spent decades prior in fandom spaces doing those exact things. there’s no excuse.

anyways all that to say; i’m never in support of witchhunting BUT if you’re excusing the use of generative ai in fics for the possibility of grammar checking or “just editing sections” or to find synonyms or whatever other excuses the tl is coming up with, just block me.
