@Mikewiggy@gtconway3d@AntiToxicPeople Mike, didn’t know you were a Henry fan, …loved him ever since the Secret Tory years. Hope all good with you, Peter
@DaveGorman Fed is my favourite Guardian setter as once you know the answer the word play is always clear. So often a chuckle on the misdirection. Today I like the Geoff Hurst clue the best
@mrchrisaddison You must be on the same flight as my mother. If you see an elderly blond haired woman in a wheelchair say hello (sorry , she won’t know who you are though!)
@nedboulting @Riverhousebarn@Rentstart It was a great evening thank you. Looking forward to reading 1923, an historical sporting history of a sport if I understood you right! (kudos to the auctioneer, I though the price would stall at a third of what it eventually achieved)
@PickardJE@sarahoconnor_ Often in US, vacation and sick leave are combined in the one allowance and you can carry over to the next year. So in reality people are building up a safety net in case of illness, rather than a dedication to the corporate machine.
@qaos_xword @guardian I enjoyed it thank you.
My favourite was the “Farmers maybe produce strong punch with last of apples (9)” because I saw it quickly!
I do like your mathematical clues, so missed them today.
