These group of Corpers were taken yesterday on their way to Abuja going from Bayelsa State camp. The vehicle they took was Peace Mass transit. My sister is among them and she has malaria right from camp. The kidnappers are asking for 20 million Naira. I don’t know what to do!

Worrisome Abduction Story From Borgu, Niger State

I am deeply disturbed by the reports of the mass abduction of Nigerians in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State, following attacks on communities including Dekara and the abduction of worshippers during Juma’at prayers.

Reports indicate that as many as 600 people, predominantly women, children and elderly Nigerians, may have been taken. The exact number is still being verified. Tragically, reports also indicate that about 30 people may have been killed.

This is one case too many.

The fact that Nigerians can be attacked in broad daylight, in their place of worship, abducted in such numbers and taken into the forests should shake the conscience of every Nigerian and compel urgent action from government.

Our people are being left vulnerable while the political class appears increasingly consumed by the next election.

Elections will come and go, but the lives of Nigerians cannot be recovered once lost.

Government must treat this as an emergency: deploy overwhelming intelligence-led security operations, rescue every person in captivity, secure the affected communities and dismantle the networks and enclaves enabling these terrorists to operate.

The Police complain that difficult terrain and a collapsed bridge hampered the initial rescue response in Borgu, which supports my consistent plea to concentrate on repairs of existing infrastructure.

I stand with the Niger State Government, the good people of Niger State and the families of those abducted and killed. We must bring our people home and restore the confidence that government exists to protect them.

A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK. -PO

In case you don’t know what’s happening, yesterday over 15 NYSC members were kidnapped. Nobody is talking about it because the media is obeying Tinubu’s instructions.

These are people’s children; their parents spent years of hard work training them in university. 💔🤯

Hello everyone, please, I urgently need your help and attention. My sister and other NYSC corps members who left Bayelsa State yesterday were attacked along the Kogi Express Road. Sadly, the driver was killed, and the corps members were reportedly taken into the forest.

Up until now, we have not heard from them, and the family is deeply worried and devastated. We have contacted the police, but unfortunately, we have not received any positive feedback yet.

Please, I am appealing to the NYSC, the Federal Government, security agencies, and everyone who can help to urgently intervene and do everything possible to rescue them safely.

Please, we don’t want anything to happen to our loved ones. . They are someone’s children, siblings and loved ones. Their lives matter.

Please help us amplify this message and tag the relevant authorities. We are begging for urgent action before it is too late.

Last year, @Morris_Monye made a post about applying for the Tony Elumelu Foundation @TonyElumeluFDN Grant. I submitted an application and was fortunate enough to receive a $5,000 business grant.

With the grant, together with my personal investment, I’m proud to announce the establishment of Yukay Medical Diagnostics Ltd.

Yukay Medical Diagnostics offers medical laboratory services, ECG and radiological investigations, including ultrasound scans and X-rays.

We will officially commence operations on 3rd September 2026, with a free medical check-up for the first 50 people.
