@EarthFirstVoter@Ivantheboomer@nicksortor I started shooting a 12 ga at 10 yrs. Trap & skeet. At 12 I was hunting. Took hunter, snowmobile, and driver's ed all at the right age. Required passing law tests and 1st aid. It teaches respect for each discipline. I never harmed anyone but could help an injured person.
@JoshHall2024 Must be close to true because the top posts are: “Trump is a Zionist” and the next is Assange is a Palestinian sympathizer”. A Zionist is for a Palestinian sympathizer…? Bots and agentic AI will kill us by turning our brains into uncritical hunks of fat, lacking neural paths.
@oldfather_john@MAVERIC68078049 Complete bullshit. We have more windmills than any other state. Probably any other country. These things are MASSIVE with fiberglass fans, ball bearings, wind causes vibration... get educated.
@PhattGreg@RubiRubidoooo 🤠Got it. I'm old just hadn't heard CRT in a while. I believe the key electronics for nav and other processes are rad hard since analog. It doesn't take an EMP to fry / interfere with electronics. A good solar flare has done significant damage. I worked at TI in semiconductor.
@Rainmaker1973 How much is the fully burdened costs (R&D, NPV, Interest, marketing, sales, training, taxes & tarrifs, restructuring facilities, insurance & liability, maintenance, etc), plus opportunity costs? I'll take zero units. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
@CRudinschi@Rainmaker1973 How much is the fully burdened costs (R&D, NPV, Interest, marketing, sales, training, taxes & tarrifs, restructuring facilities, insurance, etc), plus opportunity costs? Stupid idea.
@RyDawg42@Rainmaker1973@grok How much is the fully burdened costs (R&D, NPV, Interest, marketing, sales, training, taxes & tarrifs, restructuring facilities, insurance, etc), plus opportunity costs? Stupid idea.
@XyloBits As a kid waiting for the school bus with my neighbors, we'd all bring a pocket full of rubber bands and daisy chain them to see how long we would make one. That's what I recommend.
@influenya@RubiRubidoooo I have >2.5m miles flying. Do I listen to the attendants? No. The best advice is always stay buckled while seated. On a flight from Dallas to Miami I thought we had a mid-air collision - big bang, people bounced off the roof and pulled so many G’s I lost sight. Air mountain.
