A woman with values, purpose, confidence, and an identity in cybersecurity creating value and standing on her own.
Iโm still becoming her, but I believe I will.
Happy Independence Day.
Happy New Month!
Happy Cybersecurity Awareness Month!
More consistency, more growth.
Phew, September was a month I tried to build consistency in my cybersecurity journey.
It wasnโt easy, but Iโm grateful to God for helping me keep pushing.
One day. One lesson. One step at a time.
This Independence Day, Iโm reminded of the woman Iโm becoming.
๐Day 9/60
Today I learnt about network types, from small home/SOHO networks to large networks and the Internet.
I also learnt that bandwidth is the networkโs maximum capacity, while throughput is the actual data successfully transferred.

๐ Day 8/60
3 things I learned today ๐๐ฝ
- IP & MAC Addresses โ how devices are identified.
- Data Encapsulation โ how data is packaged across OSI layers.
- TCP 3-Way Handshake โ SYN โ SYN/ACK โ ACK to establish a connection.

๐ Day 8/60
Plot twist: my laptop battery decided to resign ๐ญ๐
A laptop that used to last 6โ7 hours now barely makes it through an hour. Itโs affecting my challenge, so I had to switch to my phone just to keep learning and posting.
Not the most convenient, but we move! ๐ญ
๐ Day 6/60
Weekend well spent๐
- I explored computers from a security perspective and put the theory into practice with some hands-on enumeration.
- I also explored what happens behind the screen, from CPU and memory to networks and the cloud.
@the_cyberforge
๐Day 7/60
Quiz day!
Put my knowledge to the test and spotted a few areas I need to brush up on. Back to learning tomorrow. ๐
@the_cyberforge#60DaysofCyberForge
๐Day 4/60
- Learnt how social engineering exploits people and how VPNs, HTTPS/TLS, and safe Wi-Fi protect against threats.
๐Day 5/60
- Learnt the five boot stages: Power-on, UEFI, POST, boot device selection, and bootloader loading the OS into RAM.
@the_cyberforge
๐Day 2/60
- Learned about cyberwarfare, its objectives, and how attacks like Stuxnet can disrupt critical infrastructure.
๐Day 3/60
- Started my CompTIA Security+ course and learned about the CIA Triad, AAA Framework, and access control.
@the_cyberforge#60DaysofCyberForge
๐Day 1/60
I learned the difference between offensive and defensive securityโfinding weaknesses, detecting threats, and responding to attacks.
I also practiced using Dirbuster/dirb to discover hidden resources in a simulated web application.

FROM NEXT MONTH KINDLY TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING AND ADHERE STRICTLY TO IT.
Tax is not about money entering your account. Tax is about what that money actually is.
If you describe money wrongly, it may look like income, and you pay more tax.
If you describe it correctly, you only pay tax when required... and nothing extra.
Let me show you how you can use descriptions to minimise taxes legally
SIMPLE DESCRIPTIONS YOU CAN USE (LEGALLY)
1. Money that is NOT income (NO TAX)
Use these when the money is not payment for work or business.
SituationDescription to use:
1. When a Family member sends you money, they should write "Gift / Family support"
2. When a Friend pays you back your money, he or she should write:"Refund / Reimbursement"
3. When you move your own money to another account, write:"Personal transfer / savings."
4. When someone lends you money, he or she should write: "Loan received"
5. If you put your own money into business, write: "Capital contribution"
These do not attract tax when they are true.
