My closing argument from last night’s debate. Some may not want to hear it — but it’s the truth.

I know many people feel an emotional connection to certain candidates in this race. But we can’t afford to let emotion cloud strategy. The reality is this: in today’s political climate, a status-quo, machine-backed candidate simply cannot beat Jack Ciattarelli in November.

In my closing, I laid out exactly why the establishment choice — Sherrill in North Jersey and Sweeney in South Jersey — will lose this fall. And the stakes? They couldn’t be higher.

I urge you to listen. Because the truth matters. And what happens on June 10 will determine if we have any chance of winning in November.
