It finally clicked for me... 💡

For the past 2 days, have been reviewing our Information Security Policy and Information Security Objectives as part of my ISO/IEC 27001 learning.

I initially thought objectives were just goals to satisfy the audit.

But I realized they should:

✅ Be consistent with the Information Security Policy
✅ Be measurable
✅ Consider applicable information security requirements
✅ Be based on risk assessment and risk treatment results

That's when it clicked...

An Information Security Objective isn't just a target, it's how you put your Information Security Policy into action.
