There is something about Taehyung that quietly breaks my heart, the way he carries his worries and pain so gently, choosing to share them with us only after he has already endured them, healed from them, and found his way through. We never truly know when he is hurting. He never makes himself the victim. He never asks us to worry about him.

Instead, he waits until the pain has become something he can smile about, something he can tell us while laughing, as if making sure that by the time we hear his story, we no longer have to be afraid for him. And perhaps that is one of the most beautiful ways he loves us. Sometimes, I think we forget just how incredibly strong Taehyung is.

In only a few years, he went through so much.. his group going on hiatus, losing his beloved pet, enlistment, a shoulder injury, hearing difficulties, and long periods of being unable to meet fans or perform the way his heart desired. He came back and gave us everything he had. Every single day, he kept finding little ways to make his concerts special.

Learning our languages, taking pictures, giving things away, remembering small details, always looking for another way to make someone feel seen, appreciated, and loved. As someone who loves and admires him from afar, I am genuinely, endlessly proud of him, not only for the artist he has become, not only for how much he continues to grow and shine on stage, but simply for surviving everything he had to survive and still choosing to live so beautifully.

My Taehyungie, I hope life becomes gentler with you from here on. May you always be blessed with good health, a peaceful heart, and countless reasons to smile. May your laughter always come easily, and may happiness find you in the quietest, simplest moments. May every pain you once carried alone slowly become nothing more than a distant memory. And may the world love you with the same tenderness you have always given to the people you cherish. You have given so much love to this world.

👩: the one whose vocals are the most striking for me i think it’s #V and i think i’d say most improved over time especially now that he’s much more physically fit, it’s one of those things that i think even he is feeling like this is so much easier for me now.. but beyond the skill it’s the tone now there’s this tone that he has it isn’t just that he’s the lone baritone in the vocal line bcoz jungkook can actually also go down there but his is that warm tone and it’s like he lives in that warmth. it’s exciting when he hits a high note bcoz it’s so unexpected even for Broadway people when you hear a baritone singing a tenor line.

🗣️: i agree fully with you i think he has such a soulful voice and in songs like “stigma” going way back i love when he brings out that higher register.

He is..I think among the vocalists, and I have spoken to other people that have worked with him ever since his debut, and this one music director said, because I was remarking on how this kid's pitch is just ridiculously unreal, he said he's been that way. He's always been that way since the very beginning. It's like he swallowed a stack of CDs, and he is consistently like that.
