Marie Skłodowska-Curie #Horizon2020 ETN project aiming to train 15 early stage researchers to develop new processes for the production of bio-based fertilizers.
🌱Are you a farmer or agricultural advisor? Your opinion is needed to assess the potential of bio-based fertilisers. Together we can do better for the future of sustainable agriculture; please take the survey and share link with your network. https://t.co/gbKlh07QzJ

Research to keep 👁 on : combining environmental and agronomic models to assess nutrient losses to 6 seas around EU. Aslihan Ural-joint PhD @WUR and @ResearchUGent in the @CycleFerti Marie-Curie ITN. Presenting at meeting in Lisbon 🇵🇹Interesting findings in interesting times♻️
Our 3rd annual meeting just took off. This time we are in Lisbon hosted by @isagronomia in this beautiful historical room. We are looking forward to interesting presentations and discussions.
Today at the #WCSS22 I'm presenting part of my work on organo-mineral fertilizers. I seek to understand the interactions between plant, soil, and the fertilizer fractions.
📣 We are very happy to announce that Stamatis Chrysanthopoulos, ESR 2, based in University of Lisbon has won a spot in the top 3 posters at the #ManuResource conference! Congratulations Stamatis 👏 #circulareconomy#FertiCycle#sustainability
Day 2 of the #ManuResource conference. In addition to the posters, many of our ESRs presented their work orally. In the pictures, Clara Kopp , Lelenda Florent KEBALO and Mario Alvarez Salas presenting their research activities and results.

📷With this capture, we ended our 2022 winter school webinar series. Thank you to our speakers Joan Colón Jordà from @BETA_TechCenter &Sander Bruun from @uni_copenhagen for providing insightful discussions on the environmental, economic & social sustainability assessment of BBF
📢 Meet another 3 of our ESRs in this month's #FertiCycle newsletter, learn more about the research activities of the others and check some exciting news about the upcoming @Manurescource conference next week! 🤩
It also has interesting articles and biographies of my colleagues @NyangauJared, @KhanWal9096554, Clara Kopp, Hellen Luisa de Castro e Silva, and Maja Rydgård from @CycleFerti
This week the 4th #FertiCycle newsletter has been released. In it, I have an article about using compost and biochar as possible replacements for peat in the production of organo-mineral fertilizers.

Next up, we have ESR 7 - Khan Wali from Pakistan 🇵🇰 based at @WUR in the Netherlands.
Here, he’s presenting the methods he’ll be using to explore the potential application of different spectroscopy techniques for characterisation of bio-waste.
Let’s resume the introduction of our ESRs shall we?
ESR 6 - Clara Kopp from Germany 🇩🇪 currently based at @uni_copenhagen.
Clara's research is focused on plant phosphorous availability from biochars or ashes made from organic waste. 🌾
📜Are you excited about our next issue of the #FertiCycle#newsletter? We surely are! 🤩 6 of our ESRs will be sharing exciting updates on their research activities and much more! Stay tuned ⌛️🔔
💡 Depending on the nature of the project, #technology transfer activities can be wide and different. Tomorrow, on the last day of the IPR course by @isagronomia, our ESRs will be pitching their case studies with the form of protection of Intellectual Property they found adequate
Proud that our team has many bright young women 👩🔬👩🏻🔬👩🏽🔬👩🏼🔬👩💻from all over the world 🤗. Special attention goes out to all of them on this international day of women in science 🏆
