@gahhnie i remember seeing this all the time while playing The I of It. i played that game so many times as a kid, havent played in more than a decade and now i've lost all my skills in it :(
some of yall dont understand that "vibe coding" straight up means coding based on vibes, trusting ai code if it just "looks correct" and not understanding what it does. i can assure you that linus will not allow actually vibe coding in the kernel.
@ash_x86 if you do anything on your computer at all you're gonna have to use an os that has some sort of ai code in it. linux and most of the bsd's have some sort of permissive policy on ai code. the only os to my knowledge that doesn't is haiku, but haiku lacks a lot of basic features
@dem0npaws my first and only comission i've ever paid for was like this and it was genuinely like 5x worse than other pieces they had on their page. i've never comissioned anyone since, mostly cause im broke but also cause i dont want that to happen again.
@Fotoliptofono@bomberfish77 yep this is it, i only remember having to manually install it on NetBSD, it sometimes is in other font meta packages on most linux distros so i dont even know the package name for them.
@sophiiess_ every time i use nix or nixos i think "oh wow this is really cool!", then i have to use my computer for something other than configuring my configuration.nix or small software projects and realize that i am not the target audience for nix.
literally the girl responsible for this event that Channel 5 was covering was a performative lefty from a previous video Andrew did on the 2020 BLM protests, and now she's very deep into the right wing pipeline.
if you actually WATCHED THE DAMN VIDEO you would realize that they are not actually class conscious because it's still the usual "oh it's not the rich people doing this though it's actually [insert minority here]"
the AUR has no right to be this insecure. i dont care about "ohh but its an unofficial repo"! arch heavily depends on the AUR for basic tasks, a lot of documentation tells you to use it. gentoo is a way smaller project, and yet theyre able to moderate the GURU repo so much better
