@Roadman_Podcast Love the performance of electronic, but friends have struggled with battery and cable issues. I don't need that extra little bit of performance to enjoy my cycling. I'm happy to stick with my Force 22 group. I have enough things to charge without adding my groupset to the list.

@MatthewMarks42 @cyclingweekly I never claimed to speak for everyone. Just sharing my experiences. I should've stated that I'm speaking as a roadie. Of course cargo and ebikes are another matter. They're bigger, heavier, and require more stopping power. I would want disc brakes on an MTB or gravel bike too.

@MatthewMarks42 @cyclingweekly I've never had a squealing rim brake, so I wouldn't know. I have cable disc brakes on my commuter, and I don't find them to be significantly better. Perhaps in the rain, but I've never had issues stopping with good rim brakes - wet or dry.
