The two principal grievances of the Liberation Struggle were
Land ( Mwana Wevhu) and
Universal Franchise ( One Man One Vote)
The principle of ALL Land belonging to the State has been " refouled" & bastardised an affront to the whole ethos of the liberation struggle .
Equitable ownership can only happen if All Land is vested in the State , by privatising land ownership , the State has created a new classist society which goes against all the reasons we went to war to get rid . It was white its now a black political elite . Already through a skewed system of granting mining rights only the preferred have access to real mineral wealth
( not makorokoza) . The same black elite .
There has been several Commissions on Land whose wise recommendations have been ignored . Now with no consultation with the people of Zimbabwe , No Referendum , zero consultation , zero reference to advice offered by previous Land Commissions, a bunch of greenhorns just wakes up and privatises land ownership . It is not just unconstitutional but criminal and morally repugnant and Zimbabweans will suffer these ill thought out Decisions for a long time to come.
Decrees such as "Land Reform is not Reversible " are sacrosanct principles and revolutionary covenants with the people equivalent to the Biblical Ten Commandments and are principles upon which a people a society and a Nation is founded and cannot be dispensed with by conflict of interest by those entrusted to govern us.
Land Apartheid is upon us an anti people Decision is in the making .
