tranfem opinions only pls thank u
@lizcourserants yeah np! i should’ve looked into the term b4 goin apeshit. glad to see a celebration of LGBT culture is alive and well (tho not under a name i previously anticipated lol) sorry for gettin aggressive
aight addendum to past post
i’ve been informed fujoshi as a term (originally crafted by homophobic, straight men in japan) was derogatory for ALL consumers of ALL LGBT content. as someone who’s been in fandom spaces for a while, this was news to me, since i’m used to ‘fujoshi’
I really don't understand tik-tok, this just gives me second hand embarrassment lol. Things like this is why anti-fujos and their "arguments" just feel performative at this point. They're not protecting any gay men by making this tiktok dumping on the fujos lmao
japanese lgbt content. i shouldve looked into the genuine term more, for that, i apologize.
however, am i gonna back down for making fun of that small sliver of non mlm weirdos getting creepy over mlm relations, and non wlw getting just as gross with wlw? nope!
also for the record, i’m a lesbian using my vid platform to spread opinions of bi and gay men you love to gloss over. please take off the confirmation bias glasses and listen to mlm peers.
also i did the makeup like that SPECIFICALLY emulating the stereotypical fujo style lmao
immediate distrust to anyone who uses “fanpol” in an argument. fiction affects reality. please try to be clear minded. i’ve ided as a fujo in the past, and i’ve listened to my gay/bi man peers and their concerns, and changed. if you feel ‘called out’, maybe it’s for a reason 😌✌️
