On Wednesday we welcomed @CharlieTaylor4 from @bbcsomerset into Taunton Library where Charlie read to a dozen toddlers, got crafty making presents and created a book display at the library.

You can borrow the books from Taunton or request them from any Somerset Library.

We're thrilled to announce that since we opened our coat exchange scheme in December we've had 1,022 coats donated and 904 coats were taken! All remaining coats will be donated to local refugee charities. Thank you for your generosity.

A HUGE #ThankYou to everyone who has donated coats (& other warm items) to our Winter Coat Exchange - we've had an incredible 156 coats donated across the 6 libraires currently taking part in the scheme so far, with over 80 of those finding new homes already 🤩

Wrap Up Warm scheme is now available at Dulverton Library. If you need a coat just take one, if you want to help then leave one.

The scheme is also up and running in Priorswood, Taunton, Yeovil, Chard and Ilminster.
