Yes, Ms. Pascua said that. But have you read the part where the request for a bigger stage and longer set wasn’t immediately granted?
It was only later, after Lollapalooza saw how much bigger SB19 was getting, that they were moved to the Allianz Stage and given a one-hour set.
“Basahin nyo kasi yung whole article” — we did. And reading the entire thing still doesn’t change the fact that they asked for a bigger stage and more performance time than 15 minutes. 😭
Also, the reading comprehension and “splicing” accusations coming from people constantly twisting context, creating fake narratives about BINI, and literally having a history of splicing videos and statements? The projection is almost embarrassing. Maybe try taking your own advice and read without selective comprehension for once.
@zwholovemikhs And if I may look at it from a business perspective: if you submitted something for approval and received no feedback, wouldn’t you follow up? That’s not necessarily about pride, forcing, or pressuring anyone, it’s simply about getting clarity on the status of your request.
@zwholovemikhs Okay, you personally didn’t use the word “forced.” But please don’t say “our” if some people from your side are also making that claim. I’m not generalizing the whole fandom, I understand that not everyone is on the same page.
Hindi ba medyo too much sabihin na ‘ipinilit’ when, based on Ms. Pascua’s own account, it was a request that Lollapalooza ultimately reviewed and approved? She asked for it, but the final decision was still Lollapalooza’s.
Requesting isn’t the same as forcing.
can we have an agreement na wag masyadong magsisigaw sa outro ni ken? kasi it’s a beautiful moment to just feel, embrace and listen to his voice tas bigla bigla na lang may 🦅🦅🦅🦅. hahaha 😭
let’s do it the wakas con way.
@Zorochichi24@last_Solsticex What I’ve noticed sa fandom world? Some fans are always waiting for that “gotcha” moment to use against another artist or performer. Parehong nakabantay, parehong naghahanap ng mali. 😅
The interview was so clear and detailed, yet someone still chose to take one snippet and turn it into something negative.
You don’t have to agree with everything, but at least read the whole thing before creating a narrative based on one excerpt.
@Zorochichi24@last_Solsticex I don’t hate them. I don’t even know them personally. Speaking for myself alone, I don’t make assumptions about artists’ decisions or how they engage with others because I’m not part of their circle.
Context matters, especially when discussing someone’s work and contribution. Otherwise, you’re not really looking at the whole interview, you’re just focusing on the part that fits the narrative you want to push.
I love how Ms. Pascua explained everything so clearly and thoroughly.
If you’re going to take one excerpt and turn it negative, sana basahin din muna yung whole article and understand the context. There’s more to the story than simply saying someone “got them into Lollapalooza.”

- “SB19's stint at Lollapalooza was so successful that it already got offers to play for other Lollapalooza shows. Rhiza [Pascua] went on to say that SB19 also caught the attention of Live Nation Global.”
@SB19Official#SB19
& this is why internet fanwars are literally nothing😭 sb19 has nothing left to prove. but if there’s one person we’d want to impress at Lollapalooza, it’s the man who can actually put them on MORE Lolla stages & clearly we did🥰
