Thank you to the @cyIodcg for the privilege of joining you at the PwC Cyprus Experience Center and for the warm hospitality extended throughout the afternoon. Special thanks to @kyriac_kokkinos, a great leader, for the kind invitation to share thoughts on “Guardians of the Enterprise.” I thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful exchanges with so many directors and business leaders.

Grateful for the opportunity to engage on the duties, disciplines, and judgment that shape effective board leadership—and on the vital importance of CEO succession planning as an ongoing responsibility of the board.

Honored to keynote for the Cyprus Institute of Directors and Corporate Governance in Nicosia on “Guardians of the Enterprise.”

Drawing on Plato’s question—“Who guards the guardians?”—we explored the duties, disciplines, and judgment required of directors in both prosperous and challenging times. A central theme was CEO succession planning as an ongoing board responsibility, not an episodic exercise.

Deep thanks to @kyriac_kokkinos for the invitation and for organizing a successful gathering of more than 90 colleagues. Grateful for the conversation.

Keynote at the Digital Agenda Cyprus Summit: “The Battle for Superintelligence Dominance.”

The race is an American Revolution—market value, design IP, frontier labs, and capital formation are overwhelmingly American. Five stacked layers decide outcomes: energy, semiconductors, cloud, frontier systems, and applications, with ethics engineered in at the design level.

Super Intelligence (SI) converts knowledge into usable expertise for every person. Cyprus’s strongest path is immediate mass SI fluency and, longer term, energy sovereignty through Small Modular Reactors SMRs.

Honored to return to Cyprus and join the @CyloDCG Cyprus Institute of Directors and Corporate Governance in Nicosia.
On 16 October I will deliver the keynote “Guardians of the Enterprise: The Duties, Disciplines, and Judgment of the Effective Director.” Plato’s question — “Who guards the guardians?” — still frames the work of every serious board: duty in ordinary times, discipline under pressure, and judgment when the institution itself is at stake.
Grateful for the invitation. Hope to see many of you there.
