@ABsteward Agree, unless there is data to show abx treatment or longer courses are better, we have TONS of evidence showing unnecessary abx are harmful not only at a patient level but a societal level.

@BradSpellberg And when it matters if you are wrong or not. Many times, empiric abx have no effect on outcome, eg-osteo, pji, clinically stable. If the cx comes back resistant, just change abx.
