It's funny how Isabelle is among the people who've gotten the most honest account of what kind of guy Cy is and in spite of it probably thinks the best of him. Cy doesn't really deserve the amount of grace she's given him but gets it anyway, so he tries his best to truly earn it

I finished writing a Cysabelle fic yesterday and it was kinda cute yet sad how perceptive and sweet she is to him yet oblivious as to just how remorceless Cy is about his past actions. He entertains an aura of redemption without ever being able to actually mean any of it
