In the Eastern Race the person who won the flag only campaigned for one week and gave people 300k to 400k for each vote.

The first runner was giving 200k to 300k .

The worst part of it all was if you get the money the agents watched till the elections got done.@NRMOnline

𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚��𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

Following the NRM Central Executive Committee’s recent decision to decentralize the Youth League and Youth MP elections contrary to our beloved Mzee @KagutaMuseveni , the party Chairman’s earlier commitment to preside over a centralized process—I regret to announce that I will not be participating in Western Youth MP election scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025.

This decision though difficult, arises from the reality that the integrity of the process has been fundamentally compromised. Despite raising concerns to the @NRMOnline’s top Management and Electoral Commission, irregularities have multiplied under the decentralized model. These include voter intimidation, open bribery, conflicts of interest, procedural inconsistencies and many more. Even before voting begins, the voice of the youth has been silenced by money and intimidation in favor of certain candidates by stakeholders in our districts.

Such circumstances undermine the principles of free and fair elections upon which our Party stands. I trust that our party’s leadership under our beloved Chairman H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, will take these concerns seriously to safeguard the democratic values of the NRM for the future.

To all my supporters who believed in me despite immense pressure, I say thank you. Your courage and faith in our agenda inspire me. Leadership is not a transaction—it is service. While money and power may seem louder today, they cannot drown out the voice of a determined generation.

Though I step back from this contest, I remain a proud cadre of the NRM. I will continue to serve in other capacities and pledge my full support to our Chairman, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in his forthcoming Presidential election and his continued stewardship of our Movement.

Our future is not for sale.
