@IlhanMN That’s truly amazing, and awesome! Let’s not forget the nutritional value in those meals. At my children’s school it’s considered a good meal if they eat pizza, tater tots, corn, and strawberry milk. The milk has about as much sugar as a coke per oz. Can’t forget the pop tarts!

@AOC Some say it should be up to corporations to raise wages. Just like they stopped child labor, the 40 hour work week, minimum wage, overtime, mandatory breaks. Corporations still think it’s ok to pay restaurant wait staff $2.13 an hour! Good example of lobbying that needs to go!

Corperations don’t just smile, and agree, sure let’s pay the workers a living wage, vacation pay,etc. Absolutely not, unions negotiate all of that. Our government has decided it’s more important to strictly regulate, and demonize unions
