The students have since forfeited the season. All students have had to face the consequences regardless of their involvement. Ive heard some students involved have also lost scholarships. It isn’t ‘funny’ to joke about slave auctions.

I shouldn’t have to say why this is offensive.. but since it’s confusing to some: Auctions were dehumanizing and often brutal. Men, women and children were sold alongside cattle. Children were taken from families, women were sexually assaulted. They were ‘inspected’ like animals.
