I'm quite content working in remote insurance sales. It's extremely flexible, it pays better than I could have ever hoped for at 24, and I didn't have to go through 8 years of schooling and 6 figures in debt to achieve it.

I already make well over full time income from a separate channel as well. This brand "CynicFPS" is literally just me going back to gaming after I gave it up for a few years to lock in on my main channel. It's a "fuck it why not" project.

Your path was school because you eventually gave up on what you were originally passionate about.

I didn't. I adapted, started making content and thus my path has been content creation, and sales of course, to make ends meet before youtube started paying.

Brother, I never made the claim that I'll be the Lebron of PUBG. Matter of fact, I'm quite capable of acknowledging that I almost definitely won't be, and that's fine because I don't need to be the literal G.O.A.T to make a decent living via youtube rev, audience support and maybe even some tourney winnings here and there. That said, there's like 2 Canadian pro's in PUBG total that compete year round, so when you look at it like that, I'd say I have a pretty decent shot.
