One year ago today, 'israel' assassinated our dear Anas (@AnasAlSharif0). The IOF bombed the journalists' tent inside the hospital grounds. Anas was 28 years old. Husband. Father to 4 year old girl Sham and baby boy Salah.

I had the honour of speaking to Anas to help evacuate two injured journalists for treatment. I still listen to his voice notes. His respectful and humble nature, his immense worry for his friends and colleagues, and the exhaustion in his soul are crystal clear.

'israel' threatened Anas. They wanted him to stop exposing them. They fabricated lies about him to try and justify murdering him. He was an internationally respected Al-Jazeera journalist. We watched his reports every day, three times a day, for two years.

He told the world about the threats. But he refused to stop documenting the crimes of the 'jewish state', ensuring that the whole world would bear witness to the crimes against his people and homeland. And for that, they murdered him along with four of his colleagues (Mohammed Qreiqeh, Ibrahim Zaher, Mohammed Noufal, and Moamen Aliwa).

It's been on year but our loss will never fade, Anas. We will miss you until the moment we leave this unjust world. May God have mercy on your pure soul.

Israeli settlers have been besieging a Palestinian family’s home on the outskirts of Qusra, south of Nablus, for more than 24 hours, blocking access roads and preventing the family from entering or leaving the house, as the homeowner tries to find a way to get his wife and two young daughters out.

During the siege, Israeli soldiers arrived at a tent erected by the settlers opposite the house, joined them in prayer and took selfies with them, before leaving without removing the settlers or ending the siege, according to the homeowner, Yusuf Hassan.
