It’s disappointing that dangerous situations are often laughed at or overlooked because no one got hurt. But it’s also telling because now you know the people that are laughing are not worth respecting.
GOP congress people who support McCarthy are lamenting that the 90% majority is being held hostage by a 10% minority. Now you know how we feel about sensible gun laws.
Is anyone else laughing/crying about the chaos that’s happening with the #HouseSpeaker vote? It’s like Republicans, get your shit together. This is embarrassing.
@denniscakes I’m sorry about that. :( I like to say there’s a sea of people out there but what do I know. I hope the stress eases over time. Maybe you’ll get some good stories out of the dates?

Only the GOP would think it’s a good idea to change the news cycle from Lindsay Graham’s federal abortion limits to Gov DeSantis and Gov Abbott’s human trafficking actions (but masking it as a fight of illegal immigration).
Saying it’s only 50 people instead of millions does not justify the actions made. It’s like saying, “oh, I only killed one person to prove a point, not a bunch of people like others”.
Wait, I’m wrong. DeSantis is Catholic. Hm, but still, that doesn’t seem like a very Catholic thing to do. If I remember correctly, a lot of the saints they have respect for advocates for the sick, the poor, and the needy.
For a group who claims religion as their rationale for a lot of their actions, sending people who need help away doesn’t seem like a very Christian thing to do.
