Does anyone have any tips for reading and writing?

A few objectives I have in mind are:
1. Being more creative when it comes to writing sentences
2. Which also includes expanding my vocabulary

I mostly struggle with expanding my sentences when it comes to—

—writing, most of the time my sentences end up too short and repetitive.

If anyone has tips or articles I can read for making essays in eng/indo please let me know!
