Best Weapons in Crimson Desert and How to Get Them:

🔸 Darkbringer is a powerful, high tier two handed weapon in Crimson Desert, known for its high damage (22+), critical rate boost (Level 3), and fast attack speed (Level 1). It is highly recommend for early to mid game power, featuring five Abyss Gear slots and a unique built-in "Ator's Orb" ability that spawns homing golden orbs during heavy attacks.

🔸 Frozen Anguish is a powerful early to mid game two handed weapon in Crimson Desert, with 25 attack damage, Level 1 attack speed, and stamina siphon.

🔸 Vow of the Dead King is a high damage two handed weapon, known for its high base critical rate (Level 3–4) and effective special dodge counterattack.

🔸 Hwando is a powerful two handed katana available early in Crimson Desert. It has high base damage and an innate critical rate boost. It comes with three pre-socketed Abyss Cores (critical rate, stamina siphon, and attack boost).

🔸 Fated Shadow is an incredibly powerful early game one handed sword in Crimson Desert, with +25 attack, Level 6 refinement, and the unique "Greysoul Howling" ability.

🔸 Bringer of Balance is a high damage two handed sword in Crimson Desert, featuring an initial attack power of 25 and the "Relentless" trait, which increases damage with consecutive hits. It also comes with base Attack Speed Level 1 and a Critical Rate boost. This legendary weapon is highly valued for its combo potential and high DPS capabilities.

Best Abyss Gears in Crimson Desert and How to Get Them:

🔸 Greysoul Howling: Adds a powerful, delayed shadow strike when using Turning Slash. You get it in Chapter 9.

🔸 Shadow Claw: Adds a slashing attack that deals significant damage, scaling with your weapon refinement. You get it in the Legendary Wolf questline in House Celeste in Hernand.

🔸 Groundsurge: Fires a line of elemental damage that explodes and sends enemies flying. You get it at the end of Chapter 7.

🔸 Crow's Pursuit: Every heavy attack triggers a crow storm that deals a good amount of damage to nearby enemies. Defeat the main boss in Chapter 5 to obtain it.

🔸 Moon Slashes (Crescent, Half, and Full Moon Slash): Stacking all three in one weapon turns light attacks into a powerhouse that fires three energy beams in a line. Complete the Lunar Judgement questline in House Elemore in Demeniss.

🔸 Hound's Claws: A spin attack modifier that adds a giant whirlwind effect, turning a shieldbreaker move into an effective AoE attack. Complete the Hernandian Parish of Solumen questline in Hernand.

🔸 Infinite Arrows: Use the +2 and +3 versions to reach a 100% chance of not consuming arrows. Complete the Pailune Militia questline.

Crimson Desert Tips & Tricks #78

How to find Mercury, Brimstone, Silver Ore, Gold Bar and Platinum Bar Recipes to craft Gold Bars and Platinum Bars in Crimson Desert:

🟢 Silver Ore: Go to Heart of the Saint Cave in the Hernand region. Use the stab ability to breach the waterfall entrance, then use Force Punch to break the wall. Inside, you can mine a large quantity of silver ore.

🟢 Brimstone: Go to this location near Deadfire Mountain in the Crimson Desert region marked on the map. Attack the hidden abyss creatures disguised as rocks. After defeating them, you will get Brimstone.

🟢 Mercury: Go to this location near Hexe Sanctuary. Use your bow’s charged shot with the Ice element to freeze the water into blocks, then break them to collect mercury. An additional mercury spot can be found around the Silver Wolf Mountains.

🟢 Holy Water: You can buy Holy Water from the Church of Hernand.

🟢 Gold Bar Recipe: It can be found in the Spire of Insight, located near the Steel Mountains in the south of the map. Clear the nearby bandits and burn away the vines covering the entrance. Pick up a pebble from the ground and place it in the pot on the front door to unlock it.

First Floor: Pick up the gravestone at the back of the room and place it into the central pot. Stand near the pot on the platform to be lifted to the next level.

Second Floor: Locate a telescope in the back-right of the room and a pen tip on a table in a small back room. Place both items into the pot to move to the next level.

Third Floor: Here, you will find the Gold Bar Recipe pinned on a shelf.

🟢 Crafting Gold Bar: Go to any Witch’s house to craft a Gold Bar. You will need 3 Brimstone, 3 Mercury, and 10 Silver Ore, or 3 Gold Ore and 1 Golden Apple.

🟢 Platinum Bar Recipe: You can find the Platinum Bar crafting recipe at the Scholastone Institute in the Hernand region. Head to the main central entrance, then proceed to the back area and enter through the magical door. Inside the library, go to the back and take either the left or right staircase to the second floor. Follow the balcony to the left to find the Platinum Bar recipe on a bookshelf in the back corner.

🟢 Crafting Platinum Bar: Go to any Witch’s house to craft a Platinum Bar. You will need 1 Gold Bar, 4 Brimstone, 3 Mercury, and 2 Holy Water.

Crimson Desert Tips after 100 hours. What will you add to the list?

0 - If you are completing one city and then moving to another then you are probably looking at 400 hours playtime.

0.5 - Most weapons are same, focus on a weapon that has 5 gear slot and make that your daily driver. Applies for armors too.

1. Build trust with vendors to 100. They give you a contract which allows vendors at your camp to sell their products.

2. Wear the pirate hat to find treasures when you are near them

3. Solve Abyss puzzles to gain Elemental attacks like fire & ice.

4. You are going to need a lot of camp money, start sending your comrades to 'shield' icon missions

5. Get your camp to level 3 at least so that you can farm many resources at your base like abyss cell, ginsing.

6. Make sure you fertilize and water your plants in the farm to increase production by 5 times.

7. You can steal gold bars from nobles in Demeniss.

8. Donate camp funds to church so that you can get Conversion rate of upto 200% from your camp dispatch missions.

Crimson Desert Tips & Tricks #69

Go to this island called Stoneback Crab Wetlands in the Delesyia region, situated above the main city and close to Beardtree Gorge. It is one of the best ore farming spots, as it contains a high density of almost every essential material in the game. Bloodstone is the only material not found on this island.

The ores here refresh every 7 in-game days, so get to this location as early as possible and bring a fully upgraded Mining Knuckledrill to maximize your loot. You will also find the Crab boss here. Defeat it first to freely mine ores on the island.

Go to this location in the Pailune region, situated just above the letter "E" on the map, specifically right next to the Upper Denn River. Walk along the river, once you see a big tree, you’ll know you’re in the correct spot. Approach the enemy camp along the river and defeat them all. Once the camp is cleared, the Lightning Spear will be available in the middle of the camp for you to pick up.

Crimson Desert Tips & Tricks #65

Go to this location called Scholastone Institute, located to the left of Hernand on the map. Use your lantern to inspect the items in NPCs' pockets. You are looking for a distinct square or cube icon that looks significantly different from the standard money bags. Your chances will increase as you go further inside the building. Approach the NPCs with your lantern and steal the artifact. Once you have checked the area, return to the fast travel point to refresh the NPCs and repeat the process.

Crimson Desert Tips & Tricks #54

Go to this location between Hernand and Demeniss, on the side of the road, and you can find this Extra Large Bag next to a broken cart. When retrieved, it provides 10 free inventory slots.

This item respawns every seven in-game days, allowing you to return and collect it repeatedly. Note that this bag only grants inventory expansion until you reach the maximum limit of 240 slots. Once you have reached the 240 slots maximum, collecting the bag will provide crafting materials instead.

How Does Farming Work In Crimson Desert?

Once you have recruited Kamu (A Rumor at the Goldleaf Trading Post Greymane quest) you can build a farm at Howling Hills Camp using a Dispatch/Map mission.

Once built, you are given 16 plots in which to plant seeds and farm.

Seeds can be obtained via 100 Trust with Grocers, who then unlock contracts that, when used, will add additional seeds to purchase from Kamu at camp.

Some items, such as Apples, can also be deseeded by checking the "Use" options on the item in your inventory.

Certain rare materials require Research before seeds can be taken from the item.

Seeds are planted one at a time by taking them from your inventory and planting them in the holes.

Growth speed depends on the seed type, weather, and watering

Growth seems quicker if the seeds are watered. This can be done in several ways.

Rain counts, as do items that make it rain, and a Field Sprayer can also be found via the Hernand > Vellua Fisherman's Village quest chain.

Fertilizer can be used to MASSIVELY increase yields from farming.

Fertilizer Sprayer can be obtained from Hernand > House Celeste > Abandoned Factory quest chain.

Once the Field Sprayer and Fertilizer Spray are unlocked via quests, they can be replaced by crafting via a Blacksmith under Every Day Items (due to durability).

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND making multiples of both. This is due to limited capacity and cooldown timers.

These crafting options may also be based simply on camp progress, so you may be able to craft them before obtaining them via quest rewards.

Once grown, harvest the plants for resources. As far as I know, every seed in the game has a single growth cycle.

This means that once they are harvested, they are useless. They need to be cut down/removed and replanted.

Unfortunately, due to weapon usage restrictions at camp, harvesting tools to increase yields/speed up removal (such as Magic Sickle and Chainsaw) cannot be used.

Crimson Desert Tips & Tricks #46

Gale Shield is one of most powerful defensive shields found in the Crimson Desert region, specifically near the Redsand Helmhole.

Once you reach the Redsand Helmhole, head to the left side of the area. You will find the shield placed on one of the boxes in a room.

It features an ability called Stormy Retribution. As you take hits from enemies, the shield charges with kinetic energy. You can then unleash this stored power to deal significant damage to surrounding enemies.
