Here's a fascinating approach that takes NFTs beyond the level of a blockchain-locked Mp3s + an ugly PNG. Adaptive, programmable masters that can do all sorts of shifting... 😲 https://t.co/SZ87EjNV8l

Welp, looks like people are selling them razor close to (or even at!) 2k. Glad I didn’t even try to flip. Will hope to pick one up if prices dip long term (although it would be a shame to see these pieces lose value!)
❤️@billelis' collection is a tribute to the memory of everyone who is no longer with us today.
To the ones who challenged us, created us, held us, helped, inspired, loved, respected, supported and pushed us.

Will be interested to see if/how long the secondary market sustains the prices above 2k. If it were 100 items, seems like it would perpetually be above that. But 8 collections of 100 items? That’s a lot of editions... doubtless many drawing winners will get cold feet & wanna sell
Fledgling NFT artists are not going to break through on the Ethereum blockchain. Transaction costs are too high to support cheaply priced art. There’s no great solution yet. WAX and FLOW look promising, but the tokens are too hard to acquire right now.
How sad that the people at the top of this new economy choose to view people concerned about its potential environmental impact as haters and “virtue signalers”. What’s to lose by engaging in this discussion with sincerity and shared concern?
Last night, The Carbon Drop raised $6.5 million for Open Earth Foundation on @niftygateway. According to CryptoArt footprint, Nifty Gateway has emitted 13 million KG of carbon. $150k offsets that, meaning we are carbon negative by 42x. So please take ur virtue signaling elsewhere

"Le Anime" just got a lot easier to trade! Thanks to amazing @teeshapedman who put this together!

I like that @Bassjackers are experimenting with stems and audio visualizations. If the prices come down long term I'd consider picking these up. https://t.co/K6d8xQ7o73
If you asked me to pick one artist whose AV art I would want to buy as an NFT, it would be @madeon. Specifically, the Good Faith live aesthetic. Excited for this.
I’m still learning. I think these are fair points. But would we say carbon emissions from gas vehicles are a “solved problem” right now, because we think we will eventually be able to phase them out? Also struck by the defensive tone here. 🤔
Calculating carbon footprint based on transaction count fundamentally misunderstands how ethereum works.
Every argument for this is all based on this flawed principle.
Blocks will happen regardless of your transaction count.
