Time to establish that system is not punishing criminals but arbitrarily criminalizing people, with absence of a procedure that provides people clarity on laws.

Contents of Appeal:

"My RTI was rejected saying: The right of applicant extends only to seek information as defined in Section 2(f) either by pinpointing the file document, paper or record etc or by mentioning the type of information as may be available.
I request that my request be treated as demanding the copies of laws and process notified by government of India in any form (notification, bare acts, publications etc.), in which a citizen can seek clarity on a law before he decides to take an action based on it.
And copy of any document, notification or publication mentinoing the importance of taking such opinion, in case of not knowing the law and procedures.
And in case nothing of this sort exists, provide a clear answer saying such laws and rules are non existent.
For the sake of clarity, the matter is to be taken to Court to establish a fact that Indian laws and procedures are designed in a way where IGNORANCE OF LAW IS NO EXCUSE can not be applied. As such time has arrived when the government of India takes responsiblity of this fact and establishes a procedure where people can seek clarity on a law through opinion, through contacting someone, and complying with the opinion means legal compliance and they cant be punished if the said opinion was wrong."

This is my client's surrender statement, filed in his reply to interim maintenance, before Ambala Family Court.

Filed way before #AtulSubhash so it has nothing to do with the recent unfortunate incident.

Decision is yet to come.

As a lawyer, I'm duty bound to Court and should assist the Court in whatever they want to do the public. Do I not owe any duty towards my client? Who is not only source of my livelihood but is also in actual distress?

The following statement is bold. It takes a lot of courage for a layman to tell a Court that I'll undergo punishment instead of injustice. And the Court will show its wrath upon him. And I know it.

#SC @MLJ_GoI @PMOIndia so this is how it will go. I have allowed this statement to be presented, as per the wishes of my client but still under my supervision. If the contempt is to be issued and my client is to face any punishment for this, I want to offer myself alongwith him.

I don't think I can see this injustice towards any gender, including women. While neither @FinMinIndia grants any tax rebates in the name of marriage (for liablity increase), nor you are able to guarantee any employment, men can't be subjected to a duty which not only has no return for them, instead the same investment in duty (financial support) is used against them to further harass and humiliate them.

With such advancement in technology, we all should be ashamed as a system. Failing to provide online hearings and instead transferring cases to a person's jurisdiction who is idle and can spend her life there. While working people, who are already burdened with liabilities, suffer all and everything.

We should be ashamed in locking down daily orders of the family courts. Burdening husbands with more financial stress in applying certified copies of the same. Why can't Courts be asked to provide daily orders on each hearing (free of cost) or give access to atleast lawyers, through a login system like high courts?

Before another Atul Subhash incident happens, please consider having sympathy for human lives and give #JusticeForAtulSubhash in the shape of his last dream. Justice to men.

Ready to face any action, if I breached any limit through this tweet. Please show people that you're ready to punish lawyers who feel their client's pain. Please do it so that none other dares to show sympathy or humane connection with their client.
