@RichardHanania @posta_octavian The only jobs where I can see how being human is essential are: a) influencers and other parasocial jobs, b) prostitutes, c) lab rats. I guess there is also a type of jobs like barmans, therapists or artists that are kinda similar to a), but the demand for them is very limited.

@SaladinAlDronni 3. They (to put it mildly) don't like us very much - actually the average ppl even more than gov. Partly it is justified, partly not. They will seek retribution. They will probably succeed. We will weep and gnash our teeth, but not much we can do about it.

@SaladinAlDronni 1. Median quality of life is still better in the West, though not by much. Though, the East Asian work culture, tiger parenting etc. isn't captured by GDP.
2. They are on path to be #1, and are doing well on that front. Though it comes at a price to QoL rn, it will pay back.
