@Ze0w0 The placebo effect can actually change the way your body and brain are chemically acting, it's pretty nuts. Idk exactly what the placebo reaction/response related to lactose intolerance is, but the brain can make the body do some really crazy things
@hoggridaaaa (not that poems can't be critiqued, but just derisively stripping it down to the base life experience the person is writing about not being "unique" enough seems like a horrible way to do it. Very few human experiences are unique
@hoggridaaaa can't you be reductive about every single human feeling or experience if you want to be? Oh you were mad, oh someone died, oh you had to move, etc. tbh if that's all they do it sounds like they maybe just don't like poetry in general and shouldn't make that the poets problem?
@yakisobacowboy You take out pieces of the top of it if the brain starts to swell. It's basically an emergency procedure because if the brain swells and there's nowhere to go, it will crush itself and cause fatal damage. After the swelling goes down they put the pieces back in and secure them.
@geckowithakazoo Oh the last part didn't!! I'm just saying that would have been a good way for goldel to get to Rhett but yel taking the cat prevented goldel from possibly getting her or sending her to animal control, if the pest guys had brought the cat to him to ask whose it was or what to do
@jestb11 Idk why I'm suddenly ride or die for these 2 pest guys but I am. They are just trying to do their best and save a kitty. It is goldel who must die
@Crimson_Toucan Animal control would be who would be there for a stray cat. That's why I'm still glad yel came in because if the pest guys asked goldel whose cat it was, he probably would have called animal control saying she's a stray, and the pest guys wouldn't know any better
@EvilDaveStrider Goldel fucked up by hiring pest guys that actually cared enough to not just let a cat roam around and eat poisoned rats. And yel saved the day by intercepting before the pest guys could ask goldel whose cat it was, because who knows what goldel would tell them
@stwrryy7 Both the pest guys and yel are the heroes of today. The pest guys spent their time catching a cat so it wouldn't eat poisoned rats, and yel got to them before goldel could potentially see her and lie to them saying snowball is his and taking her away or calling animal control
@rukioo_w Honestly if goldel was really hoping to poison snowball with poisoned rats, the pest guys themselves screwed him over by spending their time catching her and not wanting her to eat poison, and then giving her to yel instead of going to goldel with her.
@toothersgoofers Even if goldel wanted to hurt snowball, the pest guys just want her to not eat poisoned rats 😭 they want her to calm down, not to hurt her. The worst thing would have been them asking goldel about the cat and him lying and saying it was his. And they wouldn't know better
@DianaTheDiaries Nooo everyone thinks they're being mean but they're just trying to save the cat from getting poisoned 😭😭 the dude even says to try and calm the cat down. They just don't want her eating a poisoned rat 🥺
@Crimson_Toucan Nah they are actually doing a good thing, a cat being in the area means she could either get into the poison or eat a poisoned rat. It sounds like they tried for a while to get her, instead of just letting her potentially put herself in danger.
@OnnGuy@PuzzleHous3 Honestly to me it just seems like they don't know what to do with her. If they're spraying chemicals then you definitely don't want a cat getting into those. The guy even says to "keep it calm". She just happens to be exceptionally freaked out at the moment, as are they.
@yeonvibe Also kids probably have more issues with more 'subtle' movements and techniques, especially if it is something that would take a long time to learn to do 'perfectly'. Better to have them know an exaggerated form to make sure they know how to do it well enough to Not Die
