I was asked for my opinion on this so here we go.
I like the idea, but it's not the right nerf DM needs. It would drag on games for longer, and make it more frustrating/boring to play Dollmaster.

@VHSTheGame So, my community and I have been talking about healthy Doll Master changes, what if Dolls did less health damage on hit, and down, and make it so things like Lethal Weapon, Scream Fest etc. did not activate from Doll hits? #VHSTheGame
