MAP OF THE DAY: Iran is claiming a much wider geographical footprint for the Strait of Hormuz than before, according to state media.

Tehran says the SoH area goes from the port of Jask in the Gulf of Oman to the island of Siri in the Persian Gulf (both circled in red).
