A veterinarian in Cairo, Egypt, received a dog that had been repeatedly sexually abused.

In the report, the veterinarian described severe injuries consistent with repeated assault, apparently by more than one person.

According to some reports, five youths were later revealed to have regularly abused the dog.

Growing up in the Middle East, I personally knew of cases where people attempted to sexually abuse chickens, abused donkeys, and one man was even caught abusing a cow.

I have spoken before about how extreme sexual repression in many Islamic societies can contribute to deeply disturbing behaviors like these, and sometimes worse.
