StarkWare researcher Avihu Levy confirmed that a transaction using the #Quantum-Safe Bitcoin (#QSB) scheme was successfully mined on Bitcoin mainnet.

QSB shifts transaction security from elliptic-curve cryptography to hash-based algorithms designed to withstand quantum attacks, including Shor’s algorithm.

The method works on the current Bitcoin network without requiring consensus changes or a protocol upgrade.

The more time I spend around @CantonNetwork, the more I realize how different it is from everything else happening in this space. Most people still haven’t wrapped their heads around what’s actually being built, and honestly, I can’t blame them. Canton isn’t “just another chain,” it’s an entirely new way to structure financial infrastructure.

What makes Canton interesting to me is that it wasn't designed for hype, it was designed to solve the problems that "real finance" struggles with on blockchain.
