Sometimes code works. Sometimes I blunder a queen.
I am giving away a 3-day ticket to @DreamHackSE Stockholm! And as ChessParty is part of the event, I promise the winner that we play an OTB game during the weekend.
Good luck!

My OTB season just started. Today was my first game in Roslagsserien, my local league, and I came out of it winning. Next game will be on Sunday for the first game in Allsvenskan!
@PsykoPyro@JstSomeKirbyFan@RedMage4evah Hate to break it to you but even stuff on this website is coded with AI.
The game looks good and is not a one that is one shot prompt. Yes he use AI to work on it but he definitely spent time on it.
Lovely downswing right when I start 2 serious OTB leagues this week, and especially Allsvenskan. Oh well, gotta remember that online I can play sloppy in periods, and my overall skills have improved.
@Mystikart_ Everyone can prompt a game, but far from everyone can make a GOOD game. Making a game still takes effort. AI makes the coding faster, but game design and architecture require skills that can't be fully given to AI
@Bluebirby The truth is that even if you use AI, you still need time to iterate and perfect it. You can not vibe code perfection. And if senior devs use AI, why shouldn't hobbyists and juniors use it?
We have come to the point where AI is here to stay. Adapt or get left behind.
@SteveChainBuzz I stand by the take that 1800 and 2000 is kinda equally, not totally. The main thing is consistency. In periods where I am not consistent, I'll easily drop 150 elo from 2000
@forgebitz I guess you can say that but back then you'd copy max 50 lines, not >5k in 2 minutes. This is the way to build now and I do it too, but you can't compare copy pasting to generating code.
