Quit my job to come back and sell pest control door to door. Sharing sales tips and experiences. Hiring commission only D2D sales reps for summer 2026.
How’s it going? Here’s a quick intro on me and why I’m here.
Sold pest control door to door for 5 years and managed teams. Went to a corporate job and decided to return to the D2D industry.
Looking to share my insights on D2D sales, connect with others, and document my journey.
@BuySellSMB@AccountantMurph Same with pest control. You pay your top salesman top dollar instead of worrying about margin all the time, you keep the top performers and they help you recruit similar/top talent
@girdley One of the most underrated skillsets in sales for sure. You eliminate the “i want to think about it” and “ill revisit this next few months” objections
@lomcflurry_ Also the missionaries who didn’t get to call their family except 2x per year and go to church for sometimes 6+ hours because they had to help multiple branches/wards
@jjen_abel Agreed. There is so many layers you can uncover. That’s why sales is one of the best if not the best profession because you can customize to help others and by doing that, you get paid for it and create a great life for yourself
I’m currently hiring for summer 2026. This job has changed my life. If you are interested or know anyone that would be, send me a message. It’s a challenging job, but so worth it.

@barrettjoneill Sales is a learned skill. I agree some people have personalities that help them accelerate their sales skills and potential, but in the end it’s about personally training yourself to get better at sales.
Just finished knocking doors for the season.
Will be posting my stats on Monday.
Super grateful to have my job.
Exhausted and a little frustrated I didn’t hit my goals, but it’s been my best year yet in terms of revenue and retention.
Excited for the future!
@techsaleshackz Or make $200k-$300k in one summer during D2D sales. Choose your hard. Sales is hard either way but door to door will give you so much more freedom. I respect tech sales a ton, much more analytical and longer sales process
3 deals for $2.5k
Not an amazing day but we made it work.
Grateful for this job.
Knocking doors can be really emotional, but you need to stay in the middle and not get too high or too low throughout the day.
3 deals for $2.6k
Felt like I had to really fight for my sales today.
Door to door sales is not easy. It doesn’t get easier.
Does my process feel easier? Sure. Is my mindset used to it? Sure, but sales is not an easy game.
That’s why I do it though. Challenging and rewarding
