@Shaws, It’s coming up on three weeks since the Shaw’s store in Norwood, MA, started playing holiday hits. No one seems to know why. Eventually it will be Thanksgiving and the Muzak will match the season—but really?

Do you know whether this store gets its music and announcements via satellite, internet, or physical media? Is that an IT function, a Mood Media issue, or an Albertsons Media Collective issue? Is it just this store, or are there others? More importantly, to whom can I escalate this? I suppose I could reach out to PR or the President’s office, but I always like to know that brands listen to the groundswell and respond.

A man managed to escape a Russian drone strike near a Kyiv, Ukraine school — seconds before the blast. Video shows him running away as the incoming drone is heard overhead.

Soldiers positioned at voting locations is not legal behavior.

These are Mississippi National Guard troops at a DC ballot dropbox yesterday. We know the presence of soldiers or law enforcement at voting locations like this discourages voting, especially from Black, Brown, and immigrant voters.
