In The Expanse, the first book, there’s a scene on the Canterbury where a belter who lost his arm moving ice is getting a robotic prosthetic. He scoffs at the possibility of getting the arm regrown using gel developed by the inner planets, saying that he’d rather have a belter made fake than anything from the inners. Someone then said there’s a period of neural adjustment where the arm doesn’t feel like yours, and this is great actually because they say that when you jerk off with it it’s like getting a handjob from someone else.
With all that in mind, it is good to see a robotic hand being able to undertake fast repetitive motions without harming human flesh.
As both Banquet for Fools and Esoteric Ebb released on this week... is this the start of the golden age of indie CRPG's? If so... I'm sooo here for it! Huge congrats @hannahjosephRPG and @chrisbodegard !
