@karenmitchell__ @DONOHARMNYC Karen, yes, I have. Asking practitioners and doing qualitative interviews is just one method too. You seem to think your thesis is all that matters. Have you read my research? It involves peer reports, self-reports, behavioral research, experimental design.

@DONOHARMNYC @karenmitchell__ Fair. This particular post hinted at it, but did not explicitly say it. I cannot say that for all the posts. It makes sense that these types of people *seek* control and power, absolutely. But they are also drawn to money. Teachers and profs do not fit :)

@DONOHARMNYC @karenmitchell__ I see. Regardless, I stand by my research. While Dr. Mitchell may have discovered that some dark personalities lurk within the research community, that is true of all communities. So, by implying that we are somehow riddled with such traits is inappropriate.

@DONOHARMNYC @karenmitchell__ I'm happy to provide further evidence. The Dark Triad literature, to date, has more than 7,000 research articles on the topic. I can help send some of the more impactful ones your way. Although there are some that argue for unification, most do not.
