Emory’s Nikki Boon led for 6 events out of 7 in the women’s heptathlon, winning the title by 447 points. Boon swept the multi crowns this year, winning the indoor pentathlon and now the outdoor heptathlon.

Braden Nicholson wins North Central their 11th men's 10k national title with a huge 2:16 closing 800.
This comes after Nicholson took the 3k title indoors, adding to the long legacy of candy-striped North Central greats.

Loras's Emma Seipel is a two-time long jump national champion, but she's never won an outdoor title until
today.
She opened up the competition with a No. 6 all-time leap of 6.15 meters and could not be caught.

Scott Sloan of Wheaton came into the national meet seeded fifth, but was the last one into the final.
He stayed in ninth until the last throw, when he PRed by a meter and a half to jump the entire field and win his first national title as a freshman.
