Could not be happier with MongoDb Atlas. The free cloud solution had me up and running in minutes. Data modeling was so easy, far less calls to Db to operate on data sets.
I have had enough with Google Firestore. I spent hours trying to get it to work as a NoSQL database, even basic operations like deleting entire collections is extremely painful.
I gave up, I've been using it for months. Luckily my backend is heavily modularized. Switching out each CRUD to MongoDb literally took me 6 hours. SIX HOURS. I've been supporting this Firestore Impl for MONTHS with heavy Kotlin extension functions and serialization workarounds.
I think most devs are wondering how far the BASE level Mac Studio will stretch when compared to the much pricier Macbook Pro with similar hardware. Check out my unboxing. https://t.co/MK32BOA07K
Did you know that there are server farms of Mac Minis? Now that Apple is no longer selling the mini with more than 16 gigs of RAM what's next for app CI/CD? https://t.co/ybTTm1otRn
According to Apple there's still at least 5 weeks until my M1 is delivered. In the mean time, I am having fun watching videos like this from @d3vtec (cool channel idea, BTW) which gives me an idea of how it's gonna be like ...

After spending a month with the new S22 and hearing about the recent Hack on Samsung's One OS, are you concerned about services like Samsung's Password Keeper being compromised?

I've been using an Android device as my primary driver since the beginning. Ordered an iPhone 13 Pro to do some personal evaluations. Am I in for a world of pain?
@duclearc@sdkman_@MacHomebrew Hey @duclearc! That is a great topic and I do have a bit of pain points to outline when using one or the other. Will start writing down my thoughts for a video. Thank you.
This year I shipped a new product. Backend + iOS + Android app. I ran it for a a few months and ultimately realized I had built a platform for future projects. Today marks my one year of accelerated learning, early bedtimes, and zen-dedication.
Let's giveaway some more @daskeyboard s! We are giving away another Das Keyboard 4 Pro and Das Keyboard Model S. Like this post and I will randomly select winners in my next video. I love these keyboards and use them everyday for work. Not a sponsored post, I just love these ⌨️⌨️
Managed to kill the new magsafe cable. It sacrificed itself, saving my 16" M1 Max in the process. Having magsafe again is so convenient. I'd much rather replace this $49 cable than wait for a repair.
