@Attomizzed@SkyknightLCG Not caption, your example. Benoist's Supergirl was also yelling/ screaming in yours which seemingly reinforces the quoted tweet.
@wildheartsolar Alright, I'll admit that I might be wrong about that but what I said about people who think that distinctions invalidates characters/ mantles are wrong is still true though.
@Attomizzed@SkyknightLCG >The lasers just come out of her without her barely doing anything
>Kryptonians donβt have to get mad or anything to use heat vision lol
You post an example that's the similar to the ones that this quotetweet is clarifying towards. People will think that you're disagreeing.
@wildheartsolar I'm not a comic reader myself but I've seen some covers where they don't even specify the Captain America as well. I think it's really up to whoever's making the headlines for the posts tbh.
@wildheartsolar That's true. Distinctions are commonly used for successors and legacy characters. There can be some people who think that the distinction invalidates the character/ mantle but that's not true Lol
@wildheartsolar Factually, there's only 1 current and active Captain America who's black at the moment so they didn't have to even specify but they just do it because it's easier.
@RickeyLayman I'd like to assume that not many know about Terry because he's not as popular or that he isn't pushed as Batman as much compared to others. Oh, and because he's not black.
@Tiny_Parsnip@Nerdrotics That tends to happen when there are multiple mantle holders and being specific is most commonly used for successors for clarification. They don't have to specify Sam for this one because we all see a black man on the cover but it's just easier.
@CainMex@MontanasTerror@CinemaDey@ARGENTO2004 Back on topic, I'm just saying if people say that Corenswet's Superman was willing to let people die to save a squirrel, then Cavill's Superman was willing to let people die to aura farm. Now it's fair. People can like or hate both of them equally at the same time.
@CainMex@MontanasTerror@CinemaDey@ARGENTO2004 That was afterwards. I'm talking about during the attack. He showed no regard for civilians or minimizing potential injuries towards them and just wanted to fight Zod freely in a populated city. See how stupid it is to nitpick this?
@MontanasTerror@CinemaDey@ARGENTO2004@CainMex Fans don't need a reason to be upset with him. That's not the goal. Cavill's Superman showed no care about fighting in a populated area and let an oil tank truck explode onto a building with no attempt to stop it or react.
@MontanasTerror@CinemaDey@ARGENTO2004@CainMex It's still a possibility until they state otherwise. You're being dense and stubborn on purpose when you know exactly what I'm talking about so I'm not going to entertain you any longer.
