To every Aussie playing FC Mobile: stop accepting "scripting" as normal game design. What EA is doing with this new update isn't just frustrating—if you spent real money on your squad, it’s a direct breach of Australian Consumer Law. 🇦🇺

Here is the reality: EA sells you 125+ OVR players with advertised elite pace, strength, and passing. Then, their background engine secretly throttles those exact stats during matches—making your elite players get shoved off the ball, ballooning simple passes, and freezing your attackers to keep games close.

In Australia, EA’s EULA does NOT override statutory law. You have non-negotiable consumer guarantees under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010:

• Section 18 (Misleading or Deceptive Conduct): Selling a card based on premium stats while running code that secretly suppresses those stats in live gameplay is deceptive marketing.
• Section 54 (Acceptable Quality): Paid digital assets must be fit for purpose, durable, and free from hidden defects. Artificially degrading a card’s mechanics post-purchase is a major failure.
• Section 56 (Match Description): The product must perform to the specifications advertised at the point of sale. If a 127 OVR player performs like an 85 OVR because of dynamic balancing, it does not match its description.

If you’ve paid to build a competitive team and your players are being artificially nerfed, you are legally entitled to a remedy.

WHAT TO DO:
1. Submit refund requests through Apple or Google Play. Select "Product Defective" and explicitly cite "Major failure of consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law (Sections 54 & 56)."
2. If EA denies you or bans your account in retaliation, lodge a formal dispute with Consumer Protection in your state (e.g., Consumer Protection WA, NSW Fair Trading).
3. Report the bait-and-switch mechanics to the ACCC (@acccgovau).

They only listen when it hits their revenue. Exercise your legal rights.

@EAFCMobileForum It’s a good idea, but fc24 is repeating last years system of releasing stronger and stronger players every couple of weeks, making the ranked up players obsolete when team building as the players are capped and won’t be strong enough to compete in a months time
