I never imagined I would be making this kind of plea.
My wife, Dasola, went in for a Caesarean Section to deliver our baby, but what should have been the happiest moment of our lives suddenly became a fight for survival.
She developed severe sepsis after surgery, leading to
"Expecting problems that lasted for decades to disappear is unrealistic"
Can you then show us an existing problem that this govt brought any sort of relief to? Mention just one
Write up filled with dishonesty & gaslighting
This is one of the most dishonestly gaslighting writeups. Expect more of these as the campaigns heat up. It shows that Tinubu is very afraid.
When GEJ removed petrol subsidy with so many safety nets to help cushion the effect at a time when the economy was better prepared to handle it, who politicised it and organised a protest to reverse it? Tinubu!
When GEJ, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and Peter Obi were advocating for savings for the rainy day, who fought it vehemently? The governors who were aligned with Tinubu and the APC
When we had managed to keep Buhari, who was obviously clueless about governance, away from government, who went and teamed up with him to make sure he won for his own selfish ambition? Tinubu!
When insecurity was spreading all over the country, who turned a blind eye because he did not want to offend the North so he could get his turn at the presidency? Tinubu!
When herder terrorists made one of the first incursions into the SW and killed a prominent Yoruba person, who was out asking, "Where are the cows?"? Tinubu!
When the EndSars protests happened, who used his propaganda machinery to term it an insurrection sponsored by people who wanted to take over the government? Tinubu!
When did the military come in and kill peaceful, unarmed protesters? When Tinubu felt his moneybag at the tollgate genuinely threatened!
When he returned from France, where he fled for safety in the event that the country went up in flames after the shooting and was interviewed, what did he say? "Those at the tollgate have questions to answer too. Why were they there? How were they there? What kind of character are they?"
When Tinubu stole his way to power, what was the first thing he did? Yank off one of the only things Nigerians benefit from Nigeria. Took petrol subsidy away. Took education subsidy away. Asked us to endure baby steps of pain while spending our scarce commonwealth junketing across the globe, building expensive mansions for the VP in Abuja and his home state Borno, buying himself a new jet and a luxury yacht, taking the villa away from the national grid and pluging it fully into solar power while the entire country remains in darkness.
APC has been in power for 11 years. By next year, it'd be 12 uninterrupted years of APC in power. Tinubu and his party have brought nothing but pain, suffering, and death to Nigerians.
His audacity to be seeking a second term in office is solely because Nigerians are largely docile people. In some places, he'd have had to run into exile with his entire family by now.
Dear Nigerian graduates, the Nigerian labour market is not your only option. There are international organizations actively looking for people like you right now and the pay is in dollars.
The UN and its agencies, UNICEF, UNDP, WHO, WFP, UNESCO, IOM and the World Bank recruit regularly and salaries range from $25,000 to $90,000 annually depending on your level.
Where to find and apply:
- UN Careers (https://t.co/yhE1JecxDm). The official portal for all UN job listings globally.
- UN Nigeria (https://t.co/MMmTAEhlrf). Specifically for openings within Nigeria.
- UNjobnet (https://t.co/L9ZQzWLqAL). Lists jobs across the UN, World Bank and other multilateral organizations.
- Impactpool (https://t.co/IpkJ4cQ0yg). One of the best platforms for international organization jobs in Africa.
- Indeed (https://t.co/uFMWVEsADO), search "UN Jobs Nigeria" or "NGO Jobs Nigeria" for current openings.
Your application must have zero errors. Start with your most recent qualification and work backwards. If you have no experience yet, apply for internships first. UNICEF, UNDP and WHO all offer internship programmes for fresh graduates. That experience becomes your foundation for full roles later.
The selection process takes between two weeks and four months so be patient. After your application you may face a written test and then an interview, virtual or in person.
Luck can come from anywhere. But you cannot be lucky in a race you never entered.
Start applying today.
Above all, love God.
Something interesting happened in my flight back to Nigeria
We were supposed to have a connecting flight to a particular country
When we booked the country we left said everything was fine and we did not need to worry
We paid and all was great
By the time we’re supposed to board to enter that country, all of a sudden we found out that we could not because we did not have a certain type of visa
They had their rules and regulations and despite paying, and flying all the way there, we could not enter
It was so painful because those at the airport from were we took off said we should not worry
Only to find out they made a mistake and did not read the fine print.
Despite it being their mistake, it was me that suffered. They took us out of the aircraft and we had to start running my around looking for another available flight
As I sat in the airport feeling so pained and sad, the Holyspirit inspired this in my heart
Dear church goer, read the fine print yourself.
A lot of pastors are serving you sugar coated gospel
To not offend you they don’t tell you the real truth. So you’re comfortable in your sin
They tell you Jesus is Love but they forget to tell you He is judge
They don’t tell you anything unclean can not enter heaven
Even if they lie to you they will face judgement but you will bear the consequence
Read the bible yourself
Understand Gods requirements
If humans can have such strict rules how much more God??
Blessings
You actually don’t have to be everyone’s friend. You can genuinely like someone, enjoy their company and still choose to keep things at a surface level. An acquaintance, a colleague, a friendly neighbor, that is a valid relationship too. Not everyone needs to know your business or earn a spot in your inner circle. Proximity does not equal closeness and liking someone does not mean you owe them a deep friendship. Keep your circle intentional and stop feeling guilty about it. 🤍
The full names of the 46 kidnapped Oyo children. They are still in terrorist captivity as I type this tweet.
Pls share this post everywhere
Let their names be known worldwide.
Kindly lend your voice I beg you.
On today’s children’s day,
If this is all you do, you’ve done a lot.
I fell in love with this scripture:
“There will come a time when your tears will fall, not because of your troubles, but because God has answered your prayers.”

Dear all,
Do not let privilege blind your sense of humanity and emotions. The fact that life worked out differently for you does not automatically make you more intelligent, more disciplined or more hardworking than those who are struggling.
Many people are fighting battles you know nothing about... lack of opportunities, unstable homes, financial hardship, discrimination, grief, illness and responsibilities they never asked for. Sometimes the only difference between success and struggle is access, timing, support or luck.
Be humble enough to recognize that your current position is not solely the product of your effort. There are people just as talented, educated, creative and hardworking who simply did not have the same opportunities, connections or safety nets.
So before you judge someone for where they are in life, choose empathy. Speak kindly. Show compassion. Respect people regardless of their status. A little understanding can restore dignity to someone silently carrying the weight of the world.
Never allow comfort to erase your compassion. The true measure of character is not how you treat people above you, but how you treat those who have less, know less or are struggling to survive.
Stay grateful. Stay grounded. Stay human.
Be guided and good morning. 🙏
When Tasha Cobbs said “God will break you to position you, break you to promote you, and break you to put you in your right place. But when He breaks you He doesn't hurt you, when He breaks you He doesn't destroy you, He does it with GRACE!”🥹
Peter Obi is currently the most tactical and strategic politician in Nigeria. No one else comes close.
He promised to be on the ballot against all odds, and he has delivered on that promise. He has also managed to build an alliance with Kwankwaso, a strong grassroots politician from the North.
We also know too well that garnering the votes will never be a problem for him.
The only "problem" is his uncompromising stance against financially transactional politics. Problem in quotes cos that should ordinarily not be a problem.
To that effect, we must recognise that while he's navigating all the landmines put in his path by Tinubu and his goons, we must do our part of not only voting, but also fighting like mad men to secure those votes and make sure they count.
That's the only path to a new Nigeria.
I am Nigerian, and right now my dream is bigger than me.
Only about 4.5% of medical literature globally are represented on Black skin.
That means millions of Black patients are learning from systems that barely look like them. Medical students study diseases on skin tones that are not their own. Doctors are trained with visual references that often fail Black bodies.
That gap has consequences.
So I am deciding to build towards changing it.
I’m starting with a book.
But the larger vision is far beyond that. I want to help build software and medical visualization tools that make Black medical representation impossible to ignore.
This is not just about diversity aesthetics, this is about accuracy, education, visibility and better healthcare outcomes.
One day, I want a Black child studying medicine anywhere on earth to see themselves fully represented in what they learn.
And I believe we can build that future.
Child of God,
as you pray for restoration, do not only pray for material things.
Pray for the years that were wasted.
Pray for the seasons you lost in confusion, delay, pain, wrong decisions, stagnation, and battles you did not understand.
Some people did not only lose money…
they lost time.
Years passed without progress.
Years passed in tears.
Years passed fighting the same battles.
But our God is a Restorer of years.
The Bible says in Joel 2:25:
> “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…”
Notice God did not only promise to restore harvest.
He promised to restore YEARS.
There are people who look at their lives and feel behind.
You see others moving forward while you feel delayed.
You feel like life passed you by.
But hear me: God can compress time.
God can do in one year what would normally take ten years.
God can accelerate your destiny.
He can restore opportunities, restore strength, restore joy, restore finances, restore purpose, and restore lost seasons.
One encounter with God can recover what took years to lose.
When Joseph entered the palace, years of suffering ended in one day.
When Ruth met Boaz, years of struggle changed suddenly.
When Job was restored, God gave him double for his trouble.
This week may God restore:
wasted years
delayed opportunities
lost passion
broken dreams
abandoned visions
spiritual fire
joy and peace
May the Lord redeem time for you.
May He give you divine speed.
May you recover what delay tried to steal.
You are not too late.
God is still able to restore years.
