Everyone in Nigeria has a location. Now every location has a postcode.
Today, NIPOST launches the National Digital Postcode System, and I’m speaking to you from the heart of it: our new GIS lab, where every corner of Nigeria is being mapped and coded.
No more “turn left after the blue gate.” Your postcode connects you to deliveries, e-commerce, emergency services, banking and government services, wherever you are.
After a successful pilot in Abuja, it’s now live nationwide.

Before Cardoso took over CBN, net reserves were $859m.
In 3 years, reserves rose to $40B.
That's $39.14bn added.
4,558% growth.
No African or European nation has done this before.
Nigeria did it first globally.
Reform at its finest.
Thank you, BAT!
Well done, Cardoso!

On August 4, 2026, President Tinubu approved salary increases of up to 80% for soldiers, effective September 1.
Well, well…
Today, soldiers received their salaries with the NEW INCREMENT.
A promise made, a promise kept.
Thank you, Tinubu for taking care of our soldiers.
Ndigbo are attacking Soludo and Umahi for criticising Peter Obi.
They see Soludo and Umahi as traitors because they believe no igbo man should oppose Peter Obi no matter what.
Same igbos are friends with Dele Farotimi and other useless Yorubas attacking Tinubu 😂😂😂😂
@jon_d_doee This is really sad and thought-provoking.
A man must learn to be disciplined, run away from the temptation of Jezebels.
Trust broken can never be regained...
The man who slept with his best friend’s fiancée has finally faced them.
His friend just got back from Europe.
He didn’t hide.
He didn’t run first.
He went to the father’s house and asked to sit with both of them.
He apologised.
Thanked them for years of treating him like family. Then he put the messages and the recordings on the table.
They listened.
They understood what had happened between him and his best friend's fiancée.
His friend lost it and lunged at him.
He didn’t fight back.
The father and the staff pulled them apart.
He told his friend he wasn’t expecting forgiveness and that he would leave the company. He also said he wanted him to know the whole truth, and what kind of woman she had shown herself to be.
Then he knelt and asked the father for forgiveness. He told the old man that he had treated him like a second son, and he had repaid that by stabbing his only son in the back.
The father listened, then told him to leave his house.
He left without another word.
After that, he has decided to change his number and decided to leave the country to start all over.
When he told his mother she broke down. She still blessed him and said she would pray for him, and that he needed to seek God’s mercy for what he had done.
That last part hit him harder than the punch that never landed.
Not just because he betrayed a friend, he also broke the trust of a man who raised him like his own son.
He came to me and I advised him.
He took the advice and he went and faced them like a man.
He showed the evidence.
He didn’t fight back.
He left the house when he was told to leave. Now he has to pack his life and move on.
That’s how you carry shame.
You don’t argue it.
You don’t dress it.
You own it, learn from it, face the consequences and keep moving.
AJD.
@HighChiefOkoro My junior brother a soldier confirmed it today. In fact, he sent me money to get whine for tomorrow public holiday. God bless Asiwaju Bola Hamed Tinubu. 😂😂😂😂😂
BREAKING GOOD NEWS!
A PROMISE MADE. A PROMISE KEPT.
For the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep Nigeria safe, today brings a reason to smile.
Personnel of the Armed Forces of Nigeria have begun receiving their September salaries with the approved salary increment reflected in their payments.
This is more than just an increase in salary. It is a message to our soldiers that their sacrifices matter, their service is valued, and their welfare cannot be taken for granted.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu promised improved welfare for Nigeria’s military personnel, and this latest development is another step towards fulfilling that promise.
The commitment and persistence of the Minister of Defence and the Service Chiefs, who have continued to push for better welfare, improved conditions of service and greater support for our troops, also deserve recognition.
To every Nigerian soldier standing guard while the rest of us sleep:
Your sacrifice is seen. Your service is appreciated. Your welfare matters.
A nation that honours those who defend her is a nation that understands the true meaning of patriotism.
A promise made. A promise kept.
