How people react to the SBF fiasco is indicative of who values truly free and open #defi
$Hex & $Xen users... A rift grew between the communities, but at the end of the day, we are fighting the same fight.
SBF is only 30. I believe there will & should be a road to redemption for him. He has to make #FTX customers & Alameda investors whole though. In time SBF can be a force for good in crypto. ๐ฑ
@HEXtronaut The truth is that the community is a power to be harnessed, but it must be wielded by people with cryptically good selfless intensions.
It's probably one of the more interesting aspects of what we want to achieve, but we can't say more without spoiling it.
@HEXtronaut Greatest thing about being a Hexican is access to the community. This is also a bad thing,as thanks to the harsh treatment of Hexicans in the past, any expression of love gets bad actors in the door
We want the support of Hexicans, for the DIRECT benefit of Hex. Will we get it?
#Hexicans
You've been the springboard for so many coins which syphoned capital away from $Hex. We're building something which is inspired by both Hex and Xen, but we're doing it in a way which is going to benefit both.
Follow us and support. This time, there will be no betrayal
@jemomosomi@mrJackLevin It doesn't make it a scam, it just means that each chain has a different instance of the contract, which is not tied economically to any of the others in any way aside from sentiment.
If you want a version which is more considerate of value capture, you can check us out.
#cryptocurrency people. What do you think are the characteristics of a 'fair' launch? We're pretty sure our distribution model is going to end up in an unexpectedly flat distribution.
@JustAskJesse IIRC, those bugs were only present outside the safety context of the Binance ecosystem according to dev-kyle. It might be that those design flaws only become apparent once you add in whatever changes the Pulse-devs were adding in.
@_SzymQ489 @DaoKingdom@mrJackLevin Probably more accurate to say it's a design choice, which is good for some things and bad for others.
It's quite interesting that @mrJackLevin is coming from a web2/Google background, where getting things/services for free is the norm.
Monetisation comes later ๐
@DaoKingdom@mrJackLevin Agreed. So if your only problem with it is that there's too much inflation, check us out.
FYI you're going to need to #burn 1 million Xen to participate though.
@RobertC61583095 @line_k_hviid And Pulsechain is just a fork, so even more simple.
However, what good business thinkers get right where technologists get wrong, is that the biggest value captures often come from the least amount of technical change.
We've come up with a way for you to mint our $Xen style token in a gasless fashion... or at least, not via YOUR gas ๐
So, if you participate, you can encourage the burning of $Xen, and get rewarded with our own token, and you can do so for free.

@ViewCharts@novacav@mrJackLevin In a decentralised system, where identities are not guaranteed, you either need to embrace infinite identities, or structure the distribution around value.
Xen centers it around value by proxy of the gas cost of course, but it's largely a value outflow from the system.
@ViewCharts@mrJackLevin You picked out essentially the one flaw of Xen (in our opinion), but it's a pretty big one. Our side project has a mechanism to fix that, so let us know what you think of it if you get a chance.
In Xens case, the distribution now can only be reshuffled via market dynamics.
@lhm_xf4 @subszone24@Xencryptoio@mrJackLevin We've seen you around, and you've liked some of our tweets. You should pop in to our discord sometime, would be interested to see what you think of our idea.
@subszone24@Xencryptoio@mrJackLevin We agree that it's just an exasperated form of value leak from the ecosystem. That's why with dXen, we try to solve the multi-'wallet' situation via a different method.
Would be interested to see what you think.
$Xen users.
There are now many projects building on Xen, but not all will be created equally. Some will use tokenomics to extract value from you, while others will use it to trap more value within Xen and the side protocol.
Choose wisely: @dXen_Crypto
@LBRYcom The idea of legally launching censorship resistant tech is laughable. Your entire team should go anon, and continue the work that way. Satoshi not only gave us the template coin (#BTC), he also gave us the development practices
If Satoshi was not anonymous, he would be in jail
