UP SIR: 16.18 LAKH VOTERS,
BUT WHERE IS THE PUBLIC TRAIL?

The numbers demand answers:

• 15.44 crore voters before SIR

• 2.89 crore names deleted from the draft roll

• 71.38 lakh Form 6 applications publicly available

• 84.30 lakh voters ultimately added

• 16.18 lakh additional pre-draft Form 6 applications cited by ECI — but their public application trail is reportedly unavailable

ECI’s own Electoral Roll Manual requires applications to be computerised and published online, with their status accessible.

Under Section 32 of the RP Act, 1950, unjustified breach of official duty in electoral-roll preparation can attract penal consequences.

So publish the records:

Who are these 16.18 lakh applicants? Where were they added?
Who verified them?
Where are the Form 6 records and ERO orders?

This is not about denying anyone a vote.

It is about whether the Election Commission followed the law and can prove every addition through a transparent audit trail.

If everything is legitimate, publish the records.
