They believe 10 drones could clear an entire square kilometre, cutting the cost of mosquito control by 100x

So far though, the only public demo (below) was killing a moth in an enclosed room. Whether it works on a mosquito in the wild is the real test ahead

🇮🇱🇷🇸 ISRAELI DEFENSE GIANT ELBIT TO OPEN UAV FACTORY IN SERBIA

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić says Serbia will open a joint UAV factory with Israel’s Elbit Systems in September.

Elbit will hold a 51% controlling stake, with Serbia’s state-owned SDPR holding 49%.

The factory is part of a massive $1.63 billion, five-year defense agreement under which Elbit will supply Serbia with:

• Long-range precision rocket systems
• Intelligence and attack UAVs
• ISTAR and intelligence systems
• Advanced electro-optics and night vision
• Battlefield communications and digitization
• Vehicle upgrades and protection systems
The new UAV facility is expected to open between September 15–20.

This is super cool and motivating. I am really happy to see that this open-source repo has helped so many people.
Thanks also to everyone who shared ideas and opened PRs with improvements!

Of course, I plan to keep adding new material, including new attention variants and architectures (while bigger projects like RL and Reasoning From Scratch live in their separate repositories).

I am also currently working on a larger applied custom “small” LLM project. It has been keeping me super busy this month, but I will share more on that soon.
